AirBags & Carli System

Talked to my local trailer guy today about adding air bags to my truck. He said with the 1 inch gain in the back I couldn't run standard airbags & was suggesting supersprings. Is this true. I know Carli has the long travel bags. The guy also said leaks were a common occurence with air bags, this I don't see how with all the rigs with airbags on the road. Any help would be Greatly Appreciated on the subject.

I don't think it would really be an issue if it's only 1'', I just put ride rites on mine and i love them:-laf. And i know someone makes spacers for lifted applications as well. Also mine seems to ride better i keep 400lbs in the bed and the bags at 20psi raise it about 1'' keeping some of the weight off the leafs, hope i was of some help.

With your Carli starter system,you should go with Sage's bags. I've tried both on my '07 with Lorenz 2. 25. No comparison in ride quality and length of travel. Also next to zero air leakage with these.

i ahve the Carli bags with my Lorenz full leaf replacement. they are very well engineered and worth the money. this way you can USE the travel your suspension is setup for. hence the name "long travel air bags"

THANKS Guys! Talked to the Guys at Carli today. With all your help & theirs ,I'm going with the Carli LT bags. Scared I would drop 250 or so on standard bags & be unhappy & out 250+ dollars.
