So I've been trying to do as much reading as I can on adding one of these two options to replace my stock pump. Although I think I understand most of it. . still a little confused as to remove fuel heater ect. . think I'm going to leave it all in place. . anyhow my question is which of these two is the easiest to install? They both appear to do the same thing... and if I'm reading correctly the fass seems like a complicated install? Am I missing anything? Exactly what do you have to do to install either one of these?

I installed FASS 95 HPFP on my 02. It doesn't have the fuel & water filters just a straight fuel pump. I kept the factory fuel filter with the heater. I have not had any problem with it as of yet. Was easy to install.

I have the FASS 150/95 w/ a 3 mic filter. It is better filtration than stock and at least 4x longer filter changes. You only need a fuel heater if you don't run climatized diesel when necessary. I am from the great white north and I have no trouble without a fuel heater. The air removal helps power and milage. As for installation I have done 4 FASS installs with no trouble. I think the Airdog is a non drill install though.

I have installed both on my vehicles. The installation is about the same and both work about equal. The Airdog uses smaller filters so with that I could assume less mileage between filter changes. The Airdog was less expensive and fits closer to the underside on my 4X4.

Actually the AirDog filter changes have been much less frequent than the stock filter. The last fuel filter I replaced on my AirDog had 150,000 miles on it. No, that is not a typo, 150,000 miles! The AirDog replacement Fleetguard filters are much less expensive than the FASS and the AirDog is less expensive to buy up front. Sounds like a no brainer to me.

BTW, my AirDog now has 340,000 miles total since new with zero issues.

PM me for dealer contact.

Godspeed,
Trent
