I ordered some new parts for my truck recently and got around to installing them.

Wanted to keep my stock filter housing for the WIF sensor and heater along with pre-filter it becomes. Ordered Glacier Diesel 2 Micron Filter with head mount to add in line before CP3. Kit installed very easy and great quality. Richard @ Glacier Diesel is the prime example of how business should be done. He not only changed a price for me when there was a slight misunderstanding, but also sent me another fuel filter free of charge when the one with the kit was dented in transit. :D

Added the Raptor RP-100 as I had the GDP Filter and stock. The Raptor installed without a problem and the pre made quick connect hoses truly do save time. I really like the No-drill frame mount and the ease of installing this fuel pump. Not very noisey. Same sound level as my FASS on my 2nd gen. 15 psi consistent and barely able to pull psi down at WOT.

Now on to suspension. I have been using a custom Timbren setup on my truck which I have nothing negative to say. The kit worked well for my needs. Many would say "it aint broke, dont fix it". I came across a very cheap price in a set of PacBrake Airbags for my truck. The price could not be beat so I decided to give them a shot. I must say that the Airbags are very well made. The brackets are very beefy in design and I now see what others mean when they claim they are the best made airbag setup. I have them setup to manual fill now but I can easily plumb into my on-board compressor for my Exh-brake. I will do that if I prefer this setup over the Timbrens.

Some say TTIWWP... . This Thread is Worthless without Pics..... So... . :-laf

Nice! Those fuel lines on the Raptor are first class.
Is that a built-in adjustable pressure regulator is see on the Raptor?

you need to make sure the air bags are straight up and down ( the bag goes straight down to the axle-- and not to the driver or the passenger side)

Jfought,

The picture is not the best qaulity. Looking from the rear of the truck or the front the bags are straight, I made sure of that. I did put the upper mounting brackets together as if they mate. I think I need to re adjust them and let them slide foward.

Looking at my bags from side to side(wheel to wheel) the bags are not straight up and down they have some lean. I do not have much room to move the lower bracket on the axle as it is to close to the brake lines.

A phone call to PacBrakes Tech department and I was told to get them as close as possible to straight but they do not have to be perfect. The reason they want them straight as possible is so when not aired up and loaded the bags do not rub/chaf on themselves.

When my Walbro's fail, the Raptor is the pump that will replace them.

After seeing your Pacbrake brackets, and a different posters a couple of days ago, I am happy to have my Ride Rites. My bags sit directly on the brackets, not half on/off like I have seen with the Pacbrake kit.

JFought,

Thanks for the pointer. You are correct and they should be as straight as possible and I am going to adjust mine a bit this week. Once I get the PSI right in them with my trailer I will give a full review.

JJPage,

The Raptor is a great choice for a truck like mine that is not heavily modded like some. The PACBRAKE Airbag setup is the best I could find bracket wise. The base of the bag is slightly offset but has another bracket that rests on the axle closer to the center which distributes the load perfectly.

Yes, Now that I look closer I can see that "L" shaped bracket on top of the axle. I did not see it earlier and it really gave the impression of being catywampus. I am still very fond of the Ride Rites no drill, fit and finish.
