I got the Airdog some time ago (before price increase) and just got around to putting it in. Went reasonably well and the truck started right up afterwards.

Only problem is my fuel gauge doesn't work. It reads -99. I got the adapter from airdog that the fuel gauge screws into right before the VP44. It was the wrong size so I got an adapter and everything went together fine, there are no blockages and connections are good. It's an SPA gauge so fuel doesn't go to the cab, it has an electrical plug. The -99 makes me think its not receiving the electrical signal but as I said the connections are good, there is only one.

Any suggestions? much appreciated.

gauge it

Are you sure your Airdog is working? My truck started easily with a dead lift pump and with the Airdog not powered, so your gauge may not be faulty. When I corrected my power connection to the Airdog, my Westech fuel gauge, T-tapped at the VP44 read positively (15 psi at idle, 13. 5 under acceleration).

You say there is only one connection, but I'm thinking there is one to the sender and on more to the gauge. Did you have to relocate your sender with the change in fuel lines? I didn't, mine happened to reach from the previous fuel filter location to the VP44.

Good luck, electrical problems are the best ;)

My Airdog is definately working. The gauge has been installed for almost 2 years now because I have had the oil temp hooked up since then. The fuel connection was made to the gauge then and double checked yesterday. Guess I'll have to ohm the wire and make sure its still good, I dont know why it wouldnt be though.

Mine is also T tapped and reaches fine.
