My FASS and Racor heater is set up similiar, and when I placed the heater between the tank and the FASS, I only lost (. 3) PSI on an accurate digital gauge when measured approx 2 ft before the Injection pump.

Does it get that cold in Florida? :D

I had a FASS on all last winter, hangin' on the side of the frame rail collecting ice and slush, in temps well below zero, w/o a heater... . with no problems. No flame, just wondering if you were installing the heater for a reason, or just that you could. Looks like you did a nice job. :D

No, but I may be in Colorado in December again? Last time it was -2º and I was sleeping in the truck. Burr! Was driving to Bozeman, Montana. Don't want to chance starting/running issue with cold weather.

Slush and ice can act as an insulator.

JC . . once again very nice work !!

"I have Fuel Preporator© to thank for making the bracket". . are you saying that they altered the bracket for you ??. . reason I ask you and I are some of the very few who are lucky enough to have SS bars and I also am going to get a FPAD, so iff'in they did this for you maybe I could have a duplicate :D

Wish I could get a . dxf file of those bracket drawings you have... . then I'd be able to import into my CNC Plasma and burn some out. Looks to me like the FASS and FPAD mount the same. That would give me a good excuse to hook up a heater.

Do you plan on monitoring any temps, or pressures?

Thanks. 9 weeks from start to finish.

Mounting bracket was fabricated per my engineering drawings. I did not want to mount per original AirDog™ instructions.

You may recall my plans for mounting underbed batteries to the pickup truck bed?

Bracket was designed similar to original AirDog™ bracket but needed to allow for clearance of SS ladder bars, underbed battery, Nomad™ heater, and angle mounting to second bed gusset.

Short bed truck with SS ladder bars would be different.

You'll have to do the conversion yourself. The original's are . CWK format.

Initial running pressure is 16 psi. Cruise is 15-14 psi. WOT is 14-13 psi.

UPDATE Fuel Pressure is 15. 5-16+ PSI. Verified with Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge.

I retained the factory fuel filter. Five reasons:

• Automatic Fuel Filter Air Bleed.

• WIF (Water-in-Fuel) Sensor.

• Factory Fuel Heater.

• Fuel Pressure Gauge.

• Schrader Fuel Pressure Test Ports (2).
