Got some really good input on "G" rated 16 " tires on a recent post so will ask another question. For those who have trailer tires that need to be inflated to 110 PSI, what do you use to inflate them? Used my old compressor on the old trailer ("E" rated tires with 80 PSI) but it is limited to 100 PSI and don't think it will actually go over 90 . An issue is that the trailer is in the street about 60' from the house when inflate the tires and do not have a generator in the trailer. See 110 volt inflators that will supposedly air tires to 150 PSI but suspect they would take a long time to ever get to that level. Wonder how well a small compressor that is advertised to go to 150 PSI with only a small tank would work?
Any input is appreciated.

Not really the idea is to have even wear. If the tires are new watch how the tits are wearing. More air will wear the centers more and less will wear the outside more. Hope this helps

I use one of the small 150 PSI compressors to air my trailer tires to 125 PSI. I do have catch the compressor as it builds pressure and as it passes 125 start adding air. Used the same technique to air the 110 PSI tires on last trailer.

Why not just stop at a truck stop that has a air hose at one of the islands?? This would be much more cost effective than buying a different compressor just to inflate 4 tires once a year.

I use a C02 tank. The regulator is set for 150 PSI.

Here's what I use on my 125 PSIG 17.5" trailer tires. It fits in the truck's WeatherGuard toolbox and is good to 160 PSIG, IIRC.

Thanks for all the input. I have tentatively decided to buy a De Walt Model DWFP 55130. It is a 200 PSI compressor with a 2.5 gallon tank. weighs 42 lbs,and is 22" by 18". More than i want to pay but have the go ahead from the boss.
