AirLift Air Suspension

Considering the AirLift air suspension for the rear. I saw an application guide that had a footnote about clearance with oversided tires, and possible problems.



Anyone try these with 285-75/16's? Any install problems? How about clearance with that black plastic fender well that encloses the rear tire area?



'97 2500 4x4 with overloads.

Fits no problem in my 93 with that tire size. [ ride rites ]

Got them on my truck. Problem is clearance with the liner. The bottom of liner curves in and has a small lip. Take a utility knife and cut the lip off in the air bag area. Then pull the liners center plug and put a couple washers as spacers to push liner out a little. I can get my fingers between liner and airbag. Tires are not a problem. I'm running a 37" tire, lots of room. Dually might be different.
