Fellow diesel addicts,

did any of you have experience with airseep system from walker company ? What I understand will eliminate smell from pill bottle, but is there another advantage, to justify $ 300 price tag ?

Ask for their Letter of Approval

You might want to ask Cummins what they think about putting the Walker AirSep on their engines. I have a fleet of the larger engines (11 to 38 liter) and Cummins clearly states in their manuals NOT to use that system. I went ahead and put one on a 38 liter engine and over time, even doing the proper maintenance the oil vapors covered the air cooler, and everyone knows that doesn't help heat transfer at all. I asked the Walker rep to show me their letter of approval from Cummins to use their system, and he suddenly found someone else to talk to. Just food for thought.

Just thinking out loud

Has anyone tried a PCV type vent system, tied into the exhaust.

The type used in race cars.

Just wandering ?

Someone just posted that a couple of days ago. said he had done it but cant remmeber who . Perhaps a search is neccessary

Airsep... A waste of money if you ask me. Why not just extend the breather, and dump it on the ground? Spend your three bills on Simple Green to clean your driveway for the occasional drip.
