I'm getting ready to install air tabs on my fithwheel tomorrow and wonder if anyone has installed them on the new rubber roofs. I haven't called the airtab people, but I thought some of you guys might have personal experience with this. Thanks
I stuck them on mine. Follow the roof manufacturers recommendation for cleaning the roof so that it is not chalky. Mine has been on for nearly two years and seem to be stuck plenty tight. I had extras so I stuck them to the AC covers, refer cover, MaxAir vent cover and what ever else was sticking up and large enough to stick them on.
That's a good question. I put them on the trailer when it was new and had not pulled it for very many miles so I can not comment on fuel savings. I can tell you that the back of the RV stays clean of dust. The fifth wheel pulls so much better than the travel trailer I had previously it is hard to say that the AirTabs have anything to do with it.
