I was reading a post yesterday on the Cummins Forum. One of the members tried to order the Aisin transmission from his dealer.

Looks like the Aisin is back on restriction. Believe he was trying to order a SRW not sure, didn't say.

Anyone else having issues as of two days ago?

Scott

I would have no issues buying the 68RFE again. Mine has been great. But my new 14 with air ride suspension will have the Aisin trans because of the extra HP and TQ.

The dealer tells me the Aisin is still restricted for SRW 3500's. Glad to hear the 68FE works well. However, I am going to hold out a couple of more months for the Aisin. Sure would be nice to have some idea when it might be available.

Thanks everyone for the reply's. Hopefully in the future there will be no restricted list, when you order.
Then you can order which ever (SRW or DRW) Ram you want with the Aisin.

I looked at the link from the other post and didn't find the exact truck I want, to bad cause the 13 seem to be a lot cheaper.

The 2013s are cheaper, especially with the rebates available now. I searched the entire country using ramtrucks and different zip codes because even choosing a distance of 200+ miles, you only get a radius of 1000 miles from the home zip code.

What rebates are avail? My area has dropped the 3000+1000(capital) incentive. :( Only incentive avail to me now is the 0% finance that almost No body qualifies for!

Just went to look at 2013/2014 with SRW and Aisin. Found a 2014 Bighorn SRW I liked with Aisin in Utah, signed papers and will be here by Wednesday! Dealer said he can no longer order 2014's with Aisin in SRW, only DRW. Also dealer said incentives gone for 2013's?
