Is it possible?

Is there a DEF filter?

As a “new to me owner” I’m trying to understand if the TSB is for all 2022 3500’s with the AISIN? It doesn’t really say nor does it state specific serial numbers. Is this something they check proactively or am I supposed to use it till there’s a problem? Thanks.

A TSB means if a vehicle experiences a problem then the mechanic follows the TSB to solve it.
As long as there is no problem there is nothing to do.
Also a TSB isn't free of charge like a recall.

So if you think you have a problem that can be resolved following the TSB it's your decision to have it done and pay for it. If there is a valid warranty on the vehicle it might be eligible for reimbursement.

It’s actually a CSN which makes you eligible to bring it in for repair, as long as it falls between the Mfg info provided in the CSN.

Are you referring to CSN 71A for the K1 snap ring failures?

If so, you can see if your truck is affected by inputting your VIN on this site.

Got a winner on the 71A.

I would schedule it ASAP, the CSN fix is much better than a failed snap ring repair.
It's been off the road for the Winter actually, so have not put a ton of miles on it.

I do make sure the battery is on the NOCO and the sort.

I probably have less then 400 miles since that date of the CSN.

Would have been nice if I paid attention could have dropped it off over the Winter at any point really.

Take that back I just looked and put about 4k on it since the CSN and pulled the trailer from NJ to MI and back in Nov, so yeah guess I drove it more then I remembered.

But will get on it for sure.
