2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Alarm Install

I am going to install an Omega Max alarm on my 2000 CTD. It has lots of features. I am interested in the remote start feature. How do they work with the grid heater? Has anyone installed one. The alarm also has a turbo timer. Is this worth my time?

i installed a remote start and alarm on my dodge. The remote start feature taps into one of the wires from your pcm for your grid heater. Once your grid heater cycles and your wait-to-start light goes out, the remote start activates and starts your truck. I love the remote start. It is definitely worth it in my opinion. You just have to be patient when installing it. It took me 9 hours to install my alarm/start.
