IDAHO 3 DAY BOMB PARTY AND CAMP. march3,4,5 at harolds

I know its short notice and all but we are planning a meeting on March 4th at Bob Robertsons place in Wasilla. Come one come all, starts at Noon and goes till the projects are done. Two projects on tap for this meeting, a full gauge install on one truck and in bay two a skyjacker spring install. Should be fun, bring your favorite beverage and some snacks and lets work on some trucks.

If you are coming from Anchorage or Eagle River I suggest we all meet in the Eagle River Fred Meyer parking lot by 11:20 and we can drive out together.

I will post Bob's address on here (or mabye Bob will see this and post it) in the next couple of days for those of you who need it.

See you all on Saturday.

I just put D25 on my truck last month...

Did it mess up your geometry any? How far did it shift your axle? I don't have an adjustable trac bar :mad: and I'm kind of concerned since I'm not running the stock wheels and tires now.

John,

You should check with my schedule before planning these things :-{}

Oh well, maybe next time.

Have fun. Let me know how you like smarty.

I met some of the club at the Cummins Northwest rally last summer. I'm going to try and show up maybe meet you guys at the Fred Meyer. I talked with JR2 a lil bit and have had the PODs in for a few months now and want to see what everyone else is doin. Hope to see u guys there.

Well, the springs didn't come in today. In fact, I went ahead and cancelled my order after waiting over a month for them. I think all I need to do is loosen the bumper and pull it forward as much as I can (at least 1/2") and I should be good. I guess we can take a look at that on Saturday instead.

well it did move the axle a little but, did not screw with the geometry too much. It felt so weird to begin with it was hard to tell. It took probably 2 weeks to get used to the truck being 2. 5 inches higher in the front. All in all I am satisfied with the change. It took about 3 weeks to soften them up a little. They initially rode quit a bit stiffer than the stock ones. Now they are a little stiffer but not much. More than happy to let look at my truck if you have any more questions. Just PM me.

Will

I'll be there.

Anyone with a BOMBED 3rd Gen and plastic intercooler end tanks…. I have an all metal intercooler for sale. It already has a Kilby condensor guard attached with badges. I will list it on e-bay in the next week or two probably. If your interested I can bring it out for a look-see. $250 for any TDR member in AK.

Damn I was out of town. I could have brought all sorts of projects over... ... ... live my conversion :-laf

Actually it is getting close, I had it running before I left. Just a little wiring and get the seat in.
