Well its time to have meeting. Any one want to host it?? and what date?? I was thinking either the weekend of the 9-10 th or 16-17th. Anyone have a project?



I have some new OBD2 software that reset codes on our trucks and will be bringing that along for demos...

We're still getting everything serviced after hunting and then there's the sleds to work on... ... I'll let you know if I'll have the shop cleared out by then in a week or so .

The earthquake emptied a fishtank at my sister-in-laws house

without tipping it over, woke me up out of a sound sleep.

I have two votes for the first weekend. So if Bob's wife approves it sounds like that weekend at Bob's could be it. Lets wait for a week to make it final but so far that sounds good.

She is selling her dog hauler (Grand Caravan)!!

I hope they all fit in the back seat, as we know they CAN'T ride in the bed!!!!!

Well then it sounds like it is settled... How about Nov 9th (Sat) at Bob's, shall we say around noon.



As usual if anyone wants to caravan from Anchorage meet me in the parking lot of Fred Meyers by there gas station (Muldoon and Debar) at about 10:00 and we will drive up and grap some food at the windbreak and then go to the meeting.



For the guys between Anchorage and the valley, sit on the overpass and watch for the parade. . then join in. I would guess we would be coming by about 10:15 or so... .



We still need a project... . any one got anyting... I will bring my laptop and the OBD2 stuff, Puffin Smoke - bring your press gauges for checking lift pumps...

If no one comes up with a project I have a new lift pump to install, going to try the Carter high press version of our stock pumps. . just have to get some wire and a relay and I will be ready.



Bob - you going to come join us for breakfast?? and lead us back to you house again??



Speedo - do you have a new email address? The messages from AKTDR are bouncing. Also please bring my little torch with ya if you would.

Gus - thanks, that will work just fine. I do the same thing, as a matter of fact I have Claytons power inverter in my truck right now so I don't forget to bring it to him. .



I just found out that I have an comitment in Anchorage on the evening of the 9th, so I will not be staying late swaping lift pumps or watching guys fix broken transmission lines..... just wanted everyone to be prepared... hehe

Question

Can any of you guys around Anchorage recommend a good transmission shop, I need to have my new southbend clutch installed. The stock one can't hold with the tune up that autowurks diesel did on it and my driving

Rkee - I had my Auto transmission worked on at Transmission world behind the Dodge garage on 5th ave, its in the same building as Big-O's (and is owned by them I think). They did a good job on mine.



Are you in the Anchorage area?? Want to come to our meeting??

You can do your hoses the day of the meeting if you want, I will be riding aroudn with you wife in her new truck No really if you want to do them we can, I can't stay much past about 4:00 pm but we should be able to get a good start on em by then. Especially if you had drained the coolant already. .
