DIESEL THUNDER! August 20th in Spokane, WA.

Idaho Dyno Days And Drag Race August 27, 28

I am new to the CTD and will be attending. Would like to see more of this stuff. Great work and I hope more folks try to attend this. I will pass to a friend of mine the event timing. He too is new to the CTD and loves it.

Cheers,

Considering that Warren in Fairbanks invited Piers to Alaska it would be nice to have him stop in Fairbanks. I know that the group of us Fairbanks guys have been talking about it and might not want to drive to Anchorage. Either way works for me since I fly down to Anchorage each weekend then on to Soldotna to fish.

Tyler, have you talked to Warren lately? I'm not sure what's going on and where. I was planning on being at the Cummins open house in Anchorage on friday, but to make the Fairbanks event would mean doubling back up for saturday then back down to Soldotna on sunday. Can you get with Warren and see what can be worked out?

Thanks, Piers

What ever you decide to do please keep us informed I am comming up from juneau during that time And would love to participate in whatever happens, and for the cummins north west guy hold a lift pump for me please, I had to use my spare, 6th one in 70 000 miles. I do not have a clue why. I have quite the collection of dead pumps.

I talked to Warren. This is the plan. Louise & I will arrive in Fairbanks Saturday morning, we'll be at whatever place Warren has lined up for us saturday and sunday. Sometime on sunday evening or monday morning we'll head on to Bob's place in Palmer for a visit, then Tuesday we'll be heading for Soldotna, where we'll be until the following monday. We'll just be fishing and having fun for that week, if anyone wants to drop by, that would be great.

Hi Tyler,

Pete Harrington has a cabin in Soldotna, he's going to take us out fishing. Don't know all the details yet, but we'll work something out. If you are going to be around on the weekend, give me a call & we'll get together. My cel number is 604-309-9778. Do you know a fellow by the name of Steven Phelps? He owns a fishing charter service in Soldotna. I fixed his truck 16 years ago & he didn't have much money, so he gave me a business card and invited me up for a free fishing trip... well I kept the card & now 16 years later he's going to take me out for an afternoon of fishing :D

All,

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well, since the purchase of my CTD in May 05, two others have followed suit. One traded a Chevy and the other a Ford, both 'gassers. They love their new rides!!

They are not currently members of the TDR but I would like to bring them to this event if possible so they can get some question answered or just soak up the info everyone provides (as I will be doing).

Let me know if that is okay.

I look forward to meeting everyone.

Cheers,

P. S. Is thers an owner of a black 1 Tonner with flames on the front. He passed me on the Glen.

Please by all means bring them along, every one is welcome. Heck if you want I will give out E-ticket rides in my truck. Heck if they will let me I will do a huge burnout in the Cummins parking lot.

Look foreward to meeting you at the meeting.

I've been down that way back on 99' what a dream.

Piers, looking at your post makes me think that this is one of those time when it comes back on you, meaning the good things you do! I hope you and Louise have a great time! Take lots of pics for us if you have time... ... be safe!

Piers, lately I've been flying down each weekend and fishing on Sundays on the Kenai. Tonight is the start of my week off so I can go fishing on the Kenai and some halibut fishing out of Homer. The bad part is that the smoke in Anchorage tonight is to thick for me to fly into. Hoping by morning it clears out some. Long story short, yes I should be around down there. The weekend your going to be in Fairbanks I may have to leave early so I can pick up a pair of people and get them to Anchorage to catch a flight.
