JR2-Thanks for the invite, I may take you up on that one of these days. PCarlson said the same thing, it's been busy this summer. Got a couple of nice Kings (50 lbers) at the Deshka a week and a half ago.

I spotted a Big Black Cummins by Merrill Field at approx 1730 on Tues!!!

It had dual vertical stacks (they looked new!!!) "blowing smoke as black as coal"

White 2500 CTD

I was going back out to the valley a week or so ago and I saw

a white 2500 4x4 with locking hubs! It was an earlier 2nd gen,

had chrome mirrors, has anyone else seen it?

I think the black truck with dual stacks spewing black smoke is Puffin Smokes truck. My girlfriend saw him and jumped out of the truck to give him one of my Alaska Diesel Bombers Cards.....



I saw and drove Waterpetes truck last week down on the pennisula... . that is one bad truck. . It was a real nice to meet a fellow TDR member from out of state and BS with him for two hours... . If you guys get down towards Kaslilof (spelling) go to the Crooked Creek Campground (the private one) and go to space 60 and shoot the breeze with him.

I ran into puffin smoke in peters creek today. Them stacks sure look cool blowin smoke. He did a hard acceleration past me and it looked sweet. I think I need stacks for my smokey setup.

I saw a grey stacked truck yesterday. Had a girl driving it I slowed down so she could catch up and she wouldnt look over. I didnt see any gauges so mayhap it was a fluke. Non bomber with stacks. She shor was kind of purdy tho.

cummins in the mud

i saw puffin's truck playin' in the mud along with mine up at jim's creek yesterday. I also saw that silver sport with stacks last week, I flagged him down and talked to him for a while. His stacks are nonfunctional right now but he told me that he'll finish them soon

Blue Cummins

Who owns the pretty blue cummins with the big white cummins sticker that covers the tailgate? Pretty truck. I keep passing him or seeing him places and making eye contact with him but just havent had the chance to stop and talk to him yet.

I saw Puffin Smoke lay down a huge sun blocking smoke cloud going down Diamond Blvd tonight. Very nice job on the new and improved stacks.

Saw a Dark Blue or Grey CTD going West on K-Beach road, has dual chrome stacks. It was almost dark so I didn't get a good look.

I've seen another stacked truck here in anc. It was a blue(?) 1st gen w/a snowplow on it. saw it on Boniface a couple of days ago.

Are there any other 2nd Gen. 12valvers in Southcentral Alaska in AK. Diesel Bombers or even just TDR? PM me if you're out there? Seems like you ISB heads outnumber us considerably. I had planned to catch the group meeting last Saturday, what did I miss?

Another cummins

IN A CHEVY! I saw it on muldoon on my way to work today. It was heading towards Eagle River. It was a late '70's chevy Hd 4x4 , it was painted blue metallic. I am not positive that it was a cummins, but I could hear it when he got on it and it sounded like a straight piped cummins and it had a cummins powered emblem on the tailgate. Is it a figment of my imagination or has anyone else seen it?:--)

I have not seen it but I heard about if from the guys at Cummins NW in Anchorage. The Kid that owns it did it with his dad and he is now 16 so he can drive it himself. Its an old 12v motor that is not turned up too far. I would love to catch him and get him to come to our meetings. .

By the way, I too have seen the old style Blue truck with stacks... but have not caught him.

Whats chris's handle? I seen him in on tudor in a red dodge with wide tires on. Suped up. Looked sweet. He yelled it to me but i misunderstood. He did what I do. Looked over for guages. Im gaugeless on my new rig. Ive started but its gonna be slow. I gotta save up to build a house. She has 275s a bhaf and a monster exhuast. Next is transmission upgrades and a comp. Im gonna see if I can sneak by just by raising the line pressure for a while. Maybe luck is on my side. Prolly not. I can feel it starting to slip with just the 275s .
