Heading out this morning to Soldonta Alaska to meet up with a friend for some salmon fishing. Going by myself its a long drive but I should get to see alot of country on the way. A good chance to run the cummins. I won't be towing anything just moteling it. Wish me luck guys!

Thanks

Made it back

Well I got back Tuesday at noon. 7800 miles total trip lots of beautiful country a great trip overall. I lost my lift pump about 4 hours out on the first day. I looked over at my gauge and it was reading 5 psi and pulled down to 0 when a little throttle was applied. I got off the hwy at Beaver Utah . I got lucky and found a repair place Jasons Auto and they put my spare pump on for $65 labor. The rest of the trip was uneventful mechanically. Takes 5. 5 days of preety hard driveing to make it. The truck looks like its been thru a war. Caught lot off Coho (silver) salmon. Brought 75lbs of smoked and fillets home in a portable freezer. 12v and 110 I plugged into an outlet at night the Canadien motels have plug ins for diesel heaters so it worked out good. Also carried 12 cases of canned pints for my friends. Lots of Dodges towing trailer off all types up and back. I reccomend the trip just bring the spare parts you might need. I did get another lift pump in Anchorage for the trip back. Average mileage was 18. 5 driveing hard.
