So my buddy has Alcoa's on his 92 Ford. He dinged up one of his caps and was searching for replacements. Along the way, he came across a notice that his wheels had been recalled in 2001 for cracking. He is not the original owner, and the wheels were on the truck when he got it. Sure enough, one of the wheels had a teeny little crack on one of the spokes. He called Alcoa and they said, yep, they were recalled. Sent him 4 brand new rims, plus pay to mount the tires. Rims arrived in a week! When he gets everything mounted up, they pay to send the old rims back. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Guess it's better to get them off the road than have them fail and kill someone! If you have older Alcoas, you might want to check them. They look like they might be Challengers. Not round holes, but kind of rectangular.
