Alcoa group purchase?

Being in need of new wheels for my 3500 I though I'd post something here to guage interest in a Alcoa wheel group purchase. The wwcd2 guy didn't respond to my e-mail so the easy way (letting him set it up) is out.

If there is interest I'll look into purchasing options. Or someone with GP experiance could volunteer : )

Was looking at some 24. 5 or 22. 5 alcoa wheels.



If some are interested, alcoa is coming out with a 17. 5 wheel. and goodyear is supposed to have a tire for it.

My 2500 could be in growing spurt into a 3500! I would like to have a set of the Alcoa wheels when the transformation takes place!!!!

Talked to Southwest Wheel today. Turns out the minimum order is a pallet (20 fronts and 20 rears) of identical wheels, and they'd all have to be shipped to the same address. And they'd only be about ~$10 cheaper a wheel. Since I'm sure that no one is particularly interested in driving here to pick them up, I think we're all on our own...
