I was reading an article under New Products in Light & Medium Truck Magazine and It stated that Alcoa Wheel is coming out with 19. 5 inch wheels for Dodge, ford and GM 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton trucks.

They will weigh 35 pounds and have a maximum load rating of 4,050 lbs at 110 psi. Their claim is that this is the lowest weight/highest rating of any forged truck wheel.

Their is no information on this on their website, however the article stated to call 800-242-9898 for more info.

Darn:mad:, I should have waited before I bought my new 17" wheels.

Not affiliated - just keeping you people informed. :p

Added on edit: Called the number. They stated that the wheels are designed for the single rear wheel trucks and will not be slated for production until next year! :(

Oh well - keep it in mind until they produce them. Start saving your pennies NOW. ;)

The above is still true. Sometime next year. WHen I called the number and commented on the article that I read she stated That they like to make an official announcement to see if there is some definite interest. Then actually build them.

Well that's a bummer. There is definite interest. I wonder if that's why the Rickson folks have back orders going back six months????
