I recently had my tires rotated for the second time since I bought the truck. The first time the truck rode fine, no vibration, but after the rotation the vibration was so bed they could not correct it and gave me a new set of Toyo tires that solved the problem. This time, again no vibration but I did have some abnormal wear on the fronts so they aligned and rotated and now I have a vibration at about 70 again. It's not bad but it is noticable.

Is this normal for a 3500 dually? The shop is real nice about it, in fact they didn't charge me for the alignment since we had such a problem last time but I can't keep leaving my truck for a day for them to figure it out.

How many miles between rotation? Factory steel wheels? Where is the vibration feel like it comes from? How much air pressure do you MAINTAIN?

y-knot, the balance was checked with a road force balance each time. I was told they always strip the old weights off and start from scratch so I don't know how it was when I took it in, but I did not feel any vibration.

stacerbob, both times is was about 5000 miles, yes factory wheels. The vibration feels like it is comeing from the back, like when you hit a serise of small bumps and the back bounces around a bit if you have too much air in the rear tires. I keep 65 in the frt and 50 in the rear, have tried as low as 40 in the rear up to 70 when I had weight in there but didn;t have time to lower the pressure to drive to work. The front I have tried as high as 75, and as low as 50 but it does not seem to affect the vibration.

Had it at the dealer (alot of help they were, didn't tell me they couldn't do an alignment on a one ton untill I called to check on it later that morning) and they said everything was good front end wise. The trie shop also said they found no components bad.
