And for the record I officially will eat my own words. I said there would never be a DHRA Pro Street truck in the 9's. What's that saying? Never say never?

Great job to everyone.

That is interesting David. In light of this, and now that we have pickup trucks with roll bars running that fast, it will be interesting to see how teams react with having to fully cage a truck and still stay as light as possible. I would still love to see a 9 on fuel, but you would about have to give a weight break to the twin charger crowd to see that.

Amazing Dave... I get almost the same numbers myself :)

A 9 on fuel is brewing (IMO anyway). The rules say 5500 lbs for twins in prostreet. The smith's truck weighs in North of 6000. So far they've netted a 10. 51 @ 132. I'd be willing to bet you'll see the TS truck in the 9s at Atlanta as well.

Can we run the numbers on Comp's truck? 2750 lbs and 158 mph trap. I get a rev gaining, drag leading 780 hp.

Remember David, Scheid's motor is not running at full hp capacity, currently.

I know that. I also know that Stuckey is far from done too.

Darren has his motor issue solved, but a two year old transmission shaft decided to go south on him. (Boy talk about the Champion jinx) No question he will be in 9's soon too. TS, them too. And lets not forget Buck Spruill. I expect to see that Dmax in the 9's soon.

Could possibly have 4 trucks with VERY good chances for 9's in Atlanta. Oo.

But this was just some numbers on what been done, not whats gonna be done. ;)

Hey BENTZ!! If thats all it takes, you could buy MADDOGS engine, and beat Dan Schied!!!

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) :-laf :D

I just thought of something- to put that kind of MPH down at the big end, the 1/8 mile MPH are prolly faster than COMPs 1/4, Tractor pulling rev-gain, gotta love it!!!! Oo.

I just figured out Microsoft's secret to their business model:

Uh oh. Comp's in trouble. Either he sues Microsoft for misappropriating his trademark, or he has to come up with a new pithy quip.
