All keys appear to be lost......new tumbler?

How hard is it to install a new tumbler in the steering column? I have about given up looking for my keys... ... ... ...

you should be able to get a dealership to look up the key codes for your truck if you give them the serial number. try that first. Oo.

Yea, take the title to the dealer (or proof of ownership) and ask them to cut you a key from the code in their computer.



Carlin Dodge in Colorado Springs charges $5. 95 for this but Perkins wanted $15 so make sure you call around to all the CDJ dealerships in your area to get the best price.

I've never lost my keys this bad before... ... ..... and I am sure they will pop up the moment I leave ca$h at the dealer.

You will have two different keys if you change the tumbler since you will still have the same door key. Try really hard to get a replacment.

A locksmith can make a new key to fit your existing lock, the last time I had this done I removed the door lock and took it to the locksmith, he charged me about $15 for 2 new keys.

I own way too many dodges and have noticed if it even looks close it will work not to mention 3 have the same key must be a "special" diesel only key or something anyway tumbler isn't hard to change but the alternatives are easier.
