It looks like both Dodge and Cummins drove their prototypes hard and furious. When they get driven by grocery getters, they clog up and need different programming to cycle the E brake, egr, and regen for a light duty cycle to prevent clogging with soot.
I think that many of us, if not most, are in both categories. Right now, I'm 13 days into a heavy haul with my 5er and the truck is doing great. When I'm at home, just driving to the golf course and grocery store, I don't want to have all this trouble. I also don't want to have to hook up and pull a couple hundred miles just to clean out the gook.
