Here is a little tid bit of info for anyone who has an all wheel ABS truck. I went to buy new front brake hoses for my April 1995 build CC 2500. The passenger side is listed as a Brake Best # 380342. The driver was 380303. I did not look closely at the hoses on the truck before I went to the parts house. The passenger side was the correct part #. The driver side is completely wrong. The above part number for the driver side is listed by Bendix, Raybestos, Napa and Wagner. All use the same number but with differant letters before the number.

Both hoses have brackets made into them on the top part where the hard brake line connects (screws into) the hose. It took me the better part of a week to figure out that the numbers supplied by the above manufactures are wrong. On a whim I had the parts guy order a driver side hose for a 1994, 2500, all wheel ABS. The number is a 380341. Ta da... ..... a perfect fit. Upon further inspection, the same number, 380341, is listed for all of the above manufactures for a 94, 2500, all wheel ABS.

Moral of the story is... ..... if you have a 1995 all wheel abs 2wd truck and possibley a 1996 all wheel abs, use part numbers 380341, 380342 for new brake hoses.

P. S. it took me over a week and countless trips to multiple parts stores to figure this out. Hope this helps someone... ... .

One of the benefits of going to a professional brake dealer like EGR, is that they know the proper hose for the different years and differently equipped trucks. Also, they make their own hoses stock or custom Lengths right their in their own shop. Moral of the story, buy from the pro's.

Jim is exactly right. :)

I figured "the part guys must know what they are doing, so many companies can't get it wrong" and just let them order the 380303 brake line for the front driver's side. Well, when I got the brake line it was the wrong part, the correct one to order is the line for the 94 2WD full ABS truck... 380341.

I should have heeded Jim's advice and insisted they order the 380341 brake line in the first place, would have saved me a trip to the parts store.

Shrimpy,we're gonna have to re-name you "Doc Tinker #2" here pretty soon if you don't stop with all these off the wall projects :p :-laf

 I thought I was going to go mad trying to find that freakin hose. It literally took me about two weeks to get the right part. The way I finally found the correct one was to find a brake book that had pictures in it (NAPA I think).

Ron, Glad I could help. Believe it or not, MOPAR parts did not even show the correct number or picture. I don't know why I didn't think earlier in my hunt to simply drop down one number 380342 to 380341. Anyway glad I could help.

Cumnzpowr, NO ONE could top the good Doctor :D :D .
