All you Dually and mega cab dually folks. What is your tire stickout from you fender?

I measured my tire stickout today from the outside of my dually fender. I put mud flaps on etc. The previous owner put Dick Cepeks tires on, over size. I measured both sides, Alcoa wheels from factory, spacers betwwen rims 2", from the frame, tires etc etc and the passenger side measures 3/4" out farther. the inner dual tired both measure 3/4" from the leaf spring, frame is straight, ex owner says all is well.

What gives? Why the 2" spacers between the alcoa and steel inner rim?

If they are oversized tires, he probably put spacers so the tires wouldn't rub each other,Monte

The bed is probably not centered if you have the same spacers/wheels/tires on both sides.

As mfurrh said the spacers allow for wider tires.
