I had a really good conversation with powertraincontrolsolutions.com. They have been testing their prototype in the field for some time. The Allison's electronics are somewhat backwards from most transmissions, & use up most of their software's capability. I do not believe their system is able to control a 6 speed auto. Not yet, anyway. They will be able to set you up with a custom wiring harness, TPS sensor, & a computer controller that you can program with your own PC. You will have absolute control over your transmission. Bolting the Allison to the Cummins will probably be the easiest part. I think the 2000 series would be the best for a pickup. Ford has been running the ISB 5. 9/Allison automatic combo for a few years now.
