Allison at 545? non computer mechanical electrical plug on drivers side

I have an electrical plug on the side of my non computer mechanical allison at 545! Wht does it do? is it suposed to be a three wire hookup? One wire is hookerd up to the fuel shut off and something else under injuection pump. Black wire not going to anything? one wire snipped at plug! Big pappa, now im stumped for the moment!

We had 545’s 2 dogs ages ago. Maybe if you put a picture up, I’ll recall? Other than neutral safety and reverse, there shouldn’t be much going on there.

I know the neutral safety switch is on the driver side. I think it is down low by the shift linkage.

He started a new thread instead of posting here. It’s the thermistor for the heater grids.
