Attention: TDR Forum Junkies If anyone is interested in installing an AT series Allison transmission you need to check on item #597226325 over on Ebay.
There is an AT542 offered with all the parts needed to install it on a Cummins B series engine. The listing says that it was removed from a motorhome with 40,000 miles to be replaced with a transmission suitable for an exhaust brake. I assume that they are refering to a transmission with a lock up convertor, since the AT series does not have this feature.
The opening bid for the transmission and the installation parts is $200. 00 and no bids have been received yet.
