Good lord! That is bad. I am sure glad I have a DTT trans, it doen't do everything perfect but damn- it is way better than that. Forget the Allison until they get that crap figured out. I went and test drove one of those and was impressed, but I only went around the block. :rolleyes:
 
No big surprise here... We all knew GM was going to let the early buyers of the DuraDUD be the beta testers. Too bad a company like GM has such **** poor attitude toward testing their products BEFORE it hits the market. Perhaps more time testing and less time with marketing the "most powerful diesel motor. "

Let's hope that DC will build us a monster version of the 45RFE used in the Durango and Dakota that will be more durable (in stock form anyway) than the 47RE. Didn't DC declare that they were going to build their own heavy-duty trans once the talks with Allison died?
