Ran in to a guy I know while in big Quanah Tx. saw him in his 01' 24V dually with a 135 HP Banks Kit, followed him out of town then started passing him as I was on his a$$(remember he doesn't know who I am by the truck) hammered down and around up to 105 then started defueling running into the wind... . Ticked me off as he was gaining on the topend. So I figure 4k's, DD3's and a turbo of some sort will cure that from happening again. Oo. Oo.

for those 24v guys , they are all bad to the bone:eek: :eek: :eek: , 4k is alot of cash not to get spanked by a 24v:-laf :-laf :-laf , J/K... ... ... ... Kevin
 
Kevin, the "4k's" are 4000rpm governor springs... so he doesn't run out of RPM.



JFulmer, with that setup, you shouldn't have any more problems with 24v Banks' trucks. :-laf But you do have to watch out for some 24v trucks.

That's hilarious. I wish I could have been there to see the look on your face. I too once had a 24v close in on me above 105 mph.



Fellow TDR member, BigCarl64, gained ground on me so fast after 105 mph that I thought he was going to rear end me. But at least he had propane and tons of fuel. :)



Can't even outrun a banks truck. hahaha.

I had a 3. 55:1 rear end ratio truck gain on me once..... but that's all he did was gain on me... until I let off at *censored* EGT's... . :D

I remember that trip home from the Texas Rally. My truck is somewhat faster now with the addition of the PM3 comp, HX40 and DTT goodies. She gets up to 115 very fast. Sorry to hear about all your troubles lately, that has got to suck. CAn't wait to get back to Texas, though, I've been out here in Kommifornia working. Lots of great TDR guys in this neck of the woods.
 
Chris the look was priceless as I had a long time buddy with me that doesn't know Diesel performance until now, I was laughing my a$$ off when I went around him, I was bangin the pyro off 1450 trying to milk MPH out of it:D Then as I came home today crossed the state line(Ok) on hwy 6 and a firebird with a young chic in it started to pass me, I said what the heck, and jammed it. We ran side by side to 110 MPH:D :D :D she was so cool..... so later I tried it again unlocked and didn't really notice a difference in performance. The guy in the 01' has a phamplet from me so maybe he will become a member..... too much funOo.

Mine against yours... . lol, I can read your sig! The only thing I have as an advantage it the auto, I figure that 450 T/Q over mine will take care of the difference. If all goes well I'll come up to see what is happening then.

Dang how many RPM's would it take to run triple digits with 4. 10's and trraining wheels???????? Lets see rpm x gear ratio x tire dia... oh come on 8th grade algebra don't fail me now. :D
