Bought an older car for the long commute in March '14 to save on fuel costs. Daughter needed to borrow the car (for a couple of weeks) so back in the truck for the last 2-1/2 months. Air works better than the wimp car so I'll drive it until September and get the 300K badge. I hate to even get back in the car again.

Back to the pasture for the winter at 303K+ miles. Ya see the truck has blend door issues and getting heat to the floor is a PITA. Yep, I know the fix.

My '02 Ferd Taurus is a good commuter but it needs an AC compressor. The heat works quick and well.

That's not bad, especially 275k on injectors

About 85% highway...not sure if that helps. I changed them when I started to notice white smoke. Went with +50HP.

Forgot to mention u-joints and shaft balance. Driver's seat is tired.

Still driving it this week as the ferd car has a clogged heater core.
