In the current issue of TDR these headlights are featured. Have any of you used them? and how did they work out?

Well, I just got mine a few weeks ago as they were on Backorder since my Order in April from Thoroughbred Diesel. Only installation "problem" was the Brown Signal light connector had one tab break so a diagonal zip tire fixed that connector. DRL option requires some wire routing. Unlike Moses I just used convolution tubing on those wires to the battery. They look nice and presumably will perform much better at night, but don't drive at night now since Sunset is so late.
But they're made in China and my Passenger Side "Amber" DRL option will not work and it was already connected at the Factory (not supposed to be). I disconnected and reconnected the little black connectors several time to no avail. Everything else works as it should.
After an hour chatting, texting, emailing AND sending pictures to Alpharex they would not send me a new one and punted me back to TD for a warranty Claim - BUT ALPHAREX DIRECTLY shipped the lights to me and presumably will do the same for a new one. I was very disappointed that for this expense they would not take responsibility and just send me a new one and I would send my failed one back to them. Come on, they're made in China! Why not Make the customer Happy? Cheapskates.
Hopefully others will have better luck

Well after numerous failed attempts to talk to either Alpha Rex or "Verify" for my Mil. discount I give up, and will not do business with this or any other outfit that is this hard to work with.

Alpharex saga comes to a disappointing end. After being sent back to the Reseller Thoroughbred Diesel many more emails and delays ensued. Most recently this week a video of my lights was requested by Alpharex via personnel at Throroughbred and i complied with a PICTURE both to them and also directly to my contacts at Alpharex yesterday. THIS afternoon someone i never dealt with at Alpharex called me and stated the LUX series light no longer support AMBER DRLs. NOW THEY TELL ME! So now I get to remove the working Amber Driver's Side Headlight and disconnect the Amber connection so it will match....
Won't deal with Alpharex again!
