Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I decided to start this thread to post my findings. My voltage meter after about 45 minutes of driving would go from normal to bottom which is 8 volts. Verified no charge condition, New batteries etc. Here is what I did, and what fixed problem. Lifetime warranty alternator replaced four in two months, not easy with on board air! , no difference, ran ground from alternator to battery, no change, installed external voltage regulator, no change. Ran cable from alternator to positive battery, no change. What fixed it? ignition switch was bad! Hope this helps someone!
