After replacing a life time warranty alternator about 6 times in 6 years I bought a new Denso.

Don't do it you'll be sorry. Get the rebuild kit and rebuild the original! I was on the road and my original died was stuck with buying a "new" lifetime from a chain store. On my 3rd...
Rebuild, as every other person has replied. Or, like me, you'll regret it...

There are a few other parts in there not included in the kit, and depending on where you live the original Denso could be pretty rough, I bought the Genos kit which would be fine, but there was some other small insulator part I needed because my truck was like what's left of the Titanic.

Then I needed to use one of those impact screwdrivers to loosen the one case bolt, phone rang in the middle, when I put my impact thing on the case was back on the wrong screw and plastic went flying, Genos did not carry the part I broke but I found this place that had a very similar kit for like $32 bearings and the sort we identical to Genos kit.

I wound up using Genos bearings and the other parts from the other place.

Shipping was fine, no issues on the PayPal, if you google the address the real name of the place will pop up, it's a small rebuild shop, but parts kit I got was a lifesaver for a idiot move on my part.

Lifetime warranty parts store parts are crap...
I replaced my OEM alternator with a Nations 180 amp. Has factory size pulley, 12 diodes instead of 6, and hairpin windings. If I remember right, it was around $200, but dont quote me on that. I'm very pleased with its performance too.
