Any Good, Yes! They are stronger than steel.



I'll be towing a travel trailer <25ft. Only if it takes a 1 7/8" or 2" Ball!



I think one of these would better suit your needs.

I have this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUM...997728526QQcategoryZ33653QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I got it from them as well, good service, I got the 4" because you can use a 2 5/16" ball with a 1 1/4" shank. Works great for towing the boats I have, not sure if 4" would be enough drop for a trailer though.

I bought 2 of them and really like them. I have a 12" drop for towing my boat (2" ball) and a 10" drop with 2 5/16" for my other trailer. I couldn't decide which one to get so I ordered both thinking I would send one back. Never quite got around to it... .

Is a 4" good for most stuff

I was curiouse what you all think about the drop I should get. I was going to get an adjustable but don't really want to spend that much money right now. I have a 2" drop steel hitch that is rated for 15,000 lbs. But that is usually not enough drop when I tow either my friends car trailer or horse trailer. Do you think a 4" is best or a 6". I am concerned that a 6 would be too much. your opinions are appreciated.
