Yes, it was from Australia, and the manufacture was UTE. Years back there was group buy on TDR and that is when I got mine. There was a TDR member that delivered quite a few of them from the West coast when they arrived and past customs.
I have not seen or heard about the UTE in quite sometime. However another aluminum bumper that is very similar is Denver Off Road http://denver-offroad.com/ Layne used to sell the Ute for a while as well as make his own. I saw both of them side by side when I went to pick up my DOR from him. His is definitely better, not that the UTE was bad, he used thicker aluminum and the welding was better. My DOR has been on the truck for 14 years or so and aside from the powder coating fading a bit in color or should say gloss it has held up great, no rust and no damage whatsoever from a large deer hit at 65mph. Might be an option for you if the UTE is unavailable.
I remember the Denver Off Road, not to be confused with Dodge Off Road (DOR), years ago. I've kicked myself in the but for not purchasing one back then. I wonder what he is charging now. Not the best website.
