Aluminum Front Bumper

Hey, All:

I'm looking for a good aluminum front bumper for the new '04 like the DOR on my '01. I don't want steel as it's just too heavy (I had a Ranch Hand on my '95 and loved everything about it except the weight. ) Any information appreciated.

I like the looks of the UTE the best but they still haven't announced that the bumper for the 2003's & 04's are being produced. DOR wont'be manufacturing these bumpers for a couple of months.



The aliarc seems lighter duty that either the DOR or UTE. The aliarc is the only aluminum bumper I've seen in person.



The TJM looks a little light duty to me from the pictures.



I've also considered the Buckstop but it's 100 lbs. heavier than the DOR and around 85 lbs. more than the UTE (2nd generation bumper, don't know what the bumper for the 03's will weigh).

Layne is supposed to be sending me a picture of the prototype of the 2003 bumper. I'm going to head to the San Juan river shortly and may stop by and look at his bumper just for the heck of it.
