Competition Mopars at the "Strip" Cummins HP Shootout...

I had what I have in my signiture, but a built transmission and 500rwhp? Or what about 600rwhp?

I was wondering if I already have a pretty good setup for the track? That being a 2wd with skinnies on the front and 33x12. 50's out back. I know this has to be the lightest truck you can get with a Cummins in it since it is a 2wd reg. cab with no power windows, locks, and no carpet.

Also curious if I would end up having an advantage over 4wd trucks overall. I know a 4wd can pull better 60 ft. but would the overall less weight of my truck pull harder at the end?

I appreciate any feedback. Getting money saved up for built transmission and a twin setup.

2WD vs. 4WD

This coming year should be interesting, as there haven't been a lot of 2WD's really set up right for traction. So far as I know, all the current fastest trucks are 4x4.

My truck must weigh between 6500-7000, rwhp is 467, DTT w/89%, and fastest ET is 12. 68 @ 104 in 4x4.

I have a feeling there will be some 2WD's giving us a run for the money this year though. :( Remember, all the power in the world won't help you if you can't stick it to the ground...

I appreciate the comments guys/gal.

That is awesome if I could get mid 12's with 600rwhp.

I would think I could get even more with a 93% race converter and some slicks. Wish they made some 33" tall slicks to go on the rear when I get it done
