I've got this really crappy player in the TT. It's a LS7600CDW Linear Series made by Magnadyne Corporation. It doesn't have a digital tuner, and by the way it performs, no signal lock either. It can't keep a local strong AM station in tune for more than 3 minutes. I'd like to replace it with anything that keeps the stations locked on frequency. Anybody replace their 12V trailer entertainment stuff?

Everything I have found has that subscriber stuff that I don't want, or the overpriced RV radios that will fit this hole. I would be happy with a good in-dash replacement. I've been looking at some of the marine radios, but would like someone to chime in that has a radio/cd player that works.

Thanks.

Not sure what the RV specific stuff requires. I run Kenwood stereo's in my vehicles. There are many manufactures to choose from that are probably just as good. There are quite a few Kenwoods that also come with remote. I've found the Kenwood remote easily works upto 10ft. Might be nice in the RV to have the remote option. The last truck I also had the MP3 option. Depending on compression it's possible to put 8 albums on one CD. Converting normal music (. cda) to MP3 format is very easy.

www.crutchfield.com is a great place to start looking. I've ordered from them as well as friends with no problem. They also sell Marine units.
