I have one in my 06. It has an AUX port on the lower left side, underneath the ON/OFF knob.

Get a stereo cable with 1/8 connecters on each end and you can connect and play your IPOD through the factory radio.

Just hook up the IPOD to the radio and press the "MODE" switch. The faceplate should then read "AUX".

Is the AUX port on the in dash 6 disc CD player with the infinity sound on the '06 too?

~Chris

Not on mine. If I remember correctly, if it has the 6 disc changer with the Infinity system, it doesn't have the jack.

Wow, CStockton!!! That has to be some of the best news I've heard!!!! :) I just bought my new truck a less than two weeks ago. I've been disappointed in the quality I lost with my FM adapter for my iPod. I have no idea what the difference is, but I can tell one. I will definately be purchasing a cable and giving it a shot tomorrow!!! Thanks again!!!!!

I bought a cable on the way to work this morning! Awesome! The sounds not just perfect, but it's far better than what it was... I wanted to thank you again!

What's sad is I haven't listened to it that much since I turned Sirius on... . I'm in love ;)

Another option IF YOU HAVE THE CASSETTE PLAYER;

Radio shack sells, for $25 a cassette with pigtail attached and a 1/8" female jack on the end that you insert into the cassette player. Plug ANY audio (earphone ) output into it and it plays through the radio. I have one, but have not tried it yet. Someone who does have one told me they work pretty well. I couldn't believe they would NOT put an AUX jack on the most expensive radio they offer. After puttting in AM/FM/CD/cassette/Sirius/MP3 how hard could a stupid input jack be?? I probably would have stuck with a stock single CD if I had known I would lose the jack in the upgrade.

I have an 05 with the six disc controls, bought and adapter from crutchfield that plugs into the back of the deck where the six disk plugs in. Took about 20 min to install. Change the mode on the deck and control the ipod with your stereo. It even charges the ipod!! Oo.

Thanks for the tip JWilkins. I checked out Crutchfield and all that seemed to work is the Harmon Kardon unit. Did you get something else?

I agree with you BHaden... makes no sense.

~Chris

EDIT: I tried searching for the product and plenty came up for the 2005. Only two items for the '06, both out of line.
