This is a joke. Isn't it?

Board Games

Looking for a simple radio for my tractor. It mounts in the overhead console and I have adequate space for most anything. Just can't find anything without CD or Cassette. Also need to replace the 6x9 speakers. I was looking at a few marine applications as the environment is hostile in a tractor but just found fancy models.

I also want to add a 40 channel CB with Weather Alert. (Ain't much fun getting caught in lightning on my hill sitting on a 10 ton lighting rod. ) Again nothing fancy, maybe a Uniden or something.

Thanks in advance.

Check with a car audio installer, many times they have AM/FM units they have removed to install CD players and the owners don't want. That's where I bought my tractor units, only $10.

QTRHRS:

Illflem had a good idea on the radio. My cobra CB has a weather alert with the weather channels. I think they make several models with that feature I think WX denotes that feature. . One day I was unlocking the truck opened the door and all of sudden this very loud tone started. I thought what the heck did I do. Took me a few seconds to realize that it was a weather warning alert. On the Cobra if there is an emergency weather warning it gives the tone whether the radio is on or off.

Check out www.bills2way.com Great people great prices and Very fast to get your stuff to you! WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM EXPORT RADIOS. COM NOW DOING BUISNESS UNDER ANOTHER NAME. "Megatronic Distributing" Bad, horrible, rip offs, still owe me $359. 00, They never filled the order and didn't credit back my card. Now there is no phone # to reach them at. BAD BAD BAD. Thanks Illflem,

Thats a good idea, only need one station, no need for bells and whistles.

Newf Limo, thanks for the heads up on export. Had been toying with the idea of a few more watts for the Dodge but never acted on it.
