AM Radio Reception

I just got my Summerwind 811-S camper installed. The only problem I have come across is weak radio reception in the truck on the AM band. FM band is fine. It seems that the camper overhang is right over the radio antenna. Does anyone have a fix for this other than running another antenna. This wasn't a problem on my previous truck and camper as the antenna was forward of the camper overhang. Other than that I love my camper.

Try running a wire up over the top of your camper and clipping it to the truck's antenna with an alligator clamp. Might be a cheap cure and I think AM likes a lot of antenna anyway.
