I knew there was such a thing as AM Stereo broadcasts, I just never picked one up before. I was scanning AM stations late on a clear cold night to see what I could get. Picked up New York's AM1010 news station all the way here in Detroit!

Anyway, I scanned to AM630 here, and noticed it sounded like an FM station. Looked down and saw the little "ST" indicator... wow, I've never seen it do that before! Cool!

BTW-It's the RAZ tape/cassette factory radio.

Thought I'd post to see if anyone wondered if their got AM stereo. It never caught on a a broadcast media, but kinda neat to pick up a station though.

Wow, that does sound neat. Just think, I could have Rush coming out of one speaker and Glenn Beck out the other... . the possibilities are endless! :D

give am 750 a shot, they're out of Atlanta. Neal Boortz rebroadcasts most weeknights. I understand 39 states can pick it up...

With the cheap Pioneer CD radio that was put in my Ram (before I bought the truck), I've been able to pick up a country radio station (AM 540 KWMT) out of Fort Dodge, Ia here at home. I've even been able to listen to it up to about 70miles east of the IL/IA state line on I-80. About 300-350miles away. That's dang good in my book. :)

Picked 1080 out of Dallas about 150 miles east of Denver one morning (more like middle of the night 4-6am) I lost it when the sun came up, I guess the "bounce" went with the sun coming up. Didn't pick it back up again for another 5 hours.
