amount of torgue a stock automatic transmission will handle?

recently purchased a 96 dodge with 363,xxx miles on it after removing the muffler and having a few dodge friends drive the truck we were all curious as to what kind of horse power and torque I had. A trip to the dyno determined 235hp and 810# of torque will a stock transmission stand this, or is it possible the transmission has been "beefed up"?



















1996 dodge dually century fiberglass topper,full length fiberglass running boards. Isspro pyro,egt and boost gauges. 3" ext straight out the back w/chrome tips. silencer ring removed

Mine is running 390hp and 880 torque but i dont hammer it from a dead stop hardly ever. The size of the gears in this trans are HUGE. There are some drag race guys here that really test em hard and I havnt heard much about breakage. 1 member is running close to 500hp and well over 1000lbs T and runs it pretty hard and I havnt heard him talk about breaking either.
