As most of you know, Chrysler vehicle automatics transmissions require fluids with different friction charastics than Ford and General Motors vehicles. Amsoil Synthetic Automatic Tansmission Fluid, Chrysler ATF+(ATE) is formulated specifically to meet Chrysler specs for 100,000+ miles service!

Chrysler vehicles also require automatic transmission fluids with outstanding high and low temperature performance and oxidation stability--even better than those required by Ford and General Motors vehicles. Amsoil ATE outperforms conventional fluids in both. Synthetic fluids work better over a wider temperature range than conventional fluids do, and part of their superior temperature-handling ability comes from their ability to withstand oxidation in high temperature operations.

This new formulation is not to be used in Ford type F and Dextron applications.

Maybe we can now have a fluid that will help the one major weak spot in our Rams... the transmission. #ad

I put in this new transmission fluid, however I still had to use a friction modifier(lube guard)to eliminate shudder during lockup.

Let me know what you are running in the transfer case now, which transfer case you have and what viscosity fluid. I will do a little research and let you know what is the best product to put in the T-case.
