Amsoil Bypass?

I put an Amsoil bypass system on my truck and did notice the oil pretty clean on the dipstick, but I was under the impression that the oil would have no soot in it after I let the engine run for a wile. Am I wrong or is it supposed to filter out all the soot?

The micron rating of the EaBP-series is around 2 micron... soot can be down to 0. 01 micron.

You're mainly concerned about agglomerated soot particles over 2 microns since they are larger than the clearances between moving parts...
