Amsoil Dual Bypass Installed

Here's my $. 02 worth. I installed my dual bypass on the crossmember under the radiator. I built a "skid plate" out of 1/8" steel that protects the front and underside of the filters. Still really easy to get at the filters to change them. The hoses only need to make a couple gentle bends to get to the oil filter adapter, didn't require any 90's or 45's.

It depends on the type of hoses you used. You are probably correct if you used the Amsoil braided cloth hoses however, if you utilized Aeroquip -08 AN Teflon/stainless steel hoses as I did the bends would be too severe to use straight fittings. In fact, I used three sweeping 90 degree fittings and a straight fitting on my setup (using the trick block mount adapter I purchased from CPFF on the TDR BB).

Thanks for the reminder... I still need to fabricate a "skid plate" for my dual bypass mount (it's also located on the crossmember).
