Here's my $. 02 worth. I installed my dual bypass on the crossmember under the radiator. I built a "skid plate" out of 1/8" steel that protects the front and underside of the filters. Still really easy to get at the filters to change them. The hoses only need to make a couple gentle bends to get to the oil filter adapter, didn't require any 90's or 45's.
