I have a 1995, 2500 and I want to install the amsoil dual remote bypass filter on the frame in front of the shock and spring towards the front bumper, but if I do this, it looks like the sway bar might hit the filters if I hit a pot hole or something where the axle has to go up. I do not have enough room inside the engine compartment by the passenger side battery so I figured this would be the best spot. Has anyone done this and will it work without the sway bar hitting the filters ???????? Thanks ahead of time. Steve Malafy

Try cycling the suspension. Find an embankment and stick the front wheel up it as far as you can then pop the hood and look. Or, what we do with jeeps and if you have access to a forklift is just use the forklift to pick up that tire as high as it can go without lifting another tire off the ground. Then look. Thats how we check clearances for mega travel suspension on offroad rigs.

I haven't installed mine yet but I was thinking about putting it behind the bumper , looks like lots of room and easy to acess for changing filters. I'ld be interested in photos also.
