Is the air & oil filters for the '06 5. 9L the same as the '07 5. 9L.

I would assume they are, but you know what happens when you assume anything.

I had an individual that ordered an EaA-189 AIr filter for his 2007 Dodge 5. 9L, and it did fit. As far as the oil filter, I am not sure at this time.

Has anyone tried out the new 5W-40 DEO CJ4 formulation in their CTD yet? If so, what sort of feedback have you gotten?



I'm tempted to try it so I can be the guinea pig on Bob is the Oil Guy and have the first UOA on CJ4 formulated synthetic oil.



Also, how long until Amsoil stops formulating CI-4+ oils?

I don't know of anyone that has used the AMsoil CJ-4 oils, and I have not sold any. I do have it on hand, but have not had any calls for it as yet.



In the last sales meeting I attended (Nov. 2006) I was told Amsoil Inc. plans on formulating the CI-4+ oils for quite some time. They curently have no plans that I am aware of, to change their other Diesel oils to the CJ-4 formulations.
